Dog – Friendly Beaches are harder and harder to find which makes it all the more important to take care of the beaches that do allow you to bring your dogs.  Clean up after your dogs at all times and if there is a leash law – please obey. Dog Etiquette is a must at all times!

Cape San Blas, Florida

If you want a beach where you can walk for miles without seeing another person or a dog then this is the beach for you.  Close to Panama City but you wouldn’t know it!  Truly peaceful!

St. George Island, Florida

It may be small but worth the visit!

Carmel City Beach, California

Nestled close to the village of Carmel.  If you get bored with this beach there are other dog-friendly beaches nearby.

 

Hunting Island, South Carolina

A beautiful remote beach where your dog can run till their hearts content

Cape Cod National Seashore

Let your dog run free in the dunes of the Cape but must be on a 10ft. lead.  They will be restricted from the nature trails and any nesting areas at designated times – normally from May 1st – September 15th.

Pistol River State Scenic Viewpoint, Oregon

Located South of Gold Beach and while your running with your dog enjoy the windsurfer views

Jekyll Island, Georgia

Located on the cost , enjoy yourself on this year-round no leash restriction Island

Ft. Fisher State Recreation Area, North Carolina

You have to watch out for the human swimmers here but there are plenty of areas that your dog can run till their hearts content!
