There are literally hundreds of Dog Parks around.  I have selected only a few to help you get started in your selection!  Remember to always be a responsible dog owner!

Dog Friendly Camp Grounds

 

  1. Make sure to bring something (like a pooper scooper or bags) to pick up the mess your dog(s) make. Always clean up after your dog.
  2. Bring some water for your dog and a leash (just in case)
  3. Don't bring your dog if it is aggressive
  4. Don't let your pet wander too far. Always keep an eye on them.
  5. If the park is near a residential area, minimize the barking.

Norwich, CT

Pawsitive Park. Off leash, fenced park with separate areas for large and small dogs. Location: Asylum Street. Directions: Off leash park sectioned for small and large dogs. Location: Aslym Street. Directions: Off 395N Exit 80 East (Rte 82) towards downtown Norwich end of exit take a right and go about a mile till you see CVS (on left) turn left at the light there just past CVS. Park is less than a mile on your right.

Hopkinton,    MA

Hopkinton State Park.  Beaches, boat dock your dogs can swim off of, trails through the woods. Off peak hours, there are tons of dogs there playing. During the day when the beach is open you are supposed to have the dogs leashed, but for the most part, in the wooded areas the dogs are off leash.

Alpharetta. GA

Royal Paws Dog Park. A Lush, Private Off-Leash Dog Park - Complete with Lake, Sprinklers, VIP Membership Privileges and even a Pet Cafe! This is where the real dogs in Georgia Go! Visit the Website for membership and visitor pricing, application (required for entry). All dogs must bring paper copy of proof of rabies vaccination. No Exceptions for the safety of all! We also do temperament testing on all dogs that have not been at off-leash dog groups recently without incident. Location: 13475 Providence Road. Directions: Take Exit 10 off GA-400 and go west until Hwy 9 (Alpharetta HWY). Turn Right (north) onto HWY 9 for 1.2 miles. Turn left onto Mayfield Rd (CVS on Corner). Take Mayfield approximately 2.0 miles - Providence veers off to the right. STay on Providence Road for approximately 2 miles - Royal Paws Dog Park is on your right! You can't miss the 12 acres of grassy hills and fields where dogs are having way too much fun!

Cookeville, TN

Bark 'N' Park Acres. Over 2 acres of terrific off-leash fun. Agility equipment, Lure coursing, giant wading pool, fresh water to drink, events. Location: 3626 Eaton Road. Directions: Located 1 mile from Nashville hwy (rte. 70) in Double springs community.

Newport, RI

Newport Dog Park. Dog park in Newport, RI. Location: The City of Newport's off-leash park is located on Connell Highway at the base of the Pell Bridge (directly across the street from the Newport Playhouse). The park is free and open to the public from 6AM to 9PM. All dogs over 6 months of age must be licensed.

Burlington, VT

Star Farm. Burlington's Dog Parks. Location: In northwest Burlington on Starr Farm Road. Parking for the Dog Park is west of the Burlington Bike Path.

Fort Washington, PN

MonDaug Bark Park.  Bark park witjh 2 sections to separate small dogs from large dogs. The small and large dog parks are separated, but do share a common fence. Owners are welcome to bring their small dog into the large dog park, but they do so at their own risk. Location: 1130 Camphill Road. Directions: It is located on Camphill Road, south of Susquehanna Road and north of Virginia Drive/Higland Ave.

Kennebunk, ME

  • Kennebunk Dog Park. Fenced in dog area. Great place to take your little friend. All fenced in with trees, wood chips and benches. a slice of nature for mans best friend. Lots of room to roam and it's always cooler than the rest of town. Location: Sea Road. Directions: Take Summer ST. to Sea RD. Dog park is half a mile on the left, near the recycling center. Chino, CA

  • Prado Regional Park. 1,100 acres of dog park. Dog training park. 909-597-6366.

Las Vegas, NV

  • Desert Breeze Park. The park is divided into three sections. One for the small dogs, one for the large dogs and one for anyone who wants to use it. Bags are supplied and there are gazebos to take shade from the hot desert sun. Corner of Spring Mountain and Durango, in Las Vegas, Nevada.
